Handsome Noah Eating his Apple

For those of you who have Facebook I apologize for the repeat, but there are family members that do not have Facebook who I know would love to see these adorable photos!

Noah went into the kitchen and kept pointing at the fruit basket saying, "apple, apple."  I figured I could give him one...but no....he wanted the entire basket!  I was perfectly happy though because every time he took a bite he said, "MMMM, this is GOOD!"  I was also able to get a few adorable photos!  ENJOY!!!

The video is a little dim because the lights were off, but to see Noah so excited is just absolutely adorable!

What Happens When Mommy Takes A Shower???

I decided it was 3:00 PM and it was about time for me to take a shower.  Well, the boys are out taking the trash and I was left home with Noah.  So...I decided Noah would be fine if I took a quick 5 minute shower....Mommy was WRONG!  I started to hear the toilet paper roll going super fast and I yelled, "Noah, STOP!"  So he stopped.  I peeked out to look at him and told him to clean up the mess as toilet paper was everywhere on the floor.  Well, when Mommy turned the shower off and opened the curtain to get out, Noah points at the closed toilet and says, "Ta-da!"  He was so proud that he cleaned up his mess...Well....here are the photos to show you what it looked like.  A toilet STUFFED of toilet paper!  Too funny!

Video Clip

The first few seconds are the best because Noah mocks his Daddy....the rest is a little, eh, so to speak.  So just play the beginning over and over ha-ha!

Enjoy!!

You Will Be Amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have hit a marking point at Kinetic Kids Gym!  Today, Steven took Noah to his Kinetic Discovery Class.  When they walked in, Noah didn't want to go into the gym area...he only wanted George and his cup.  Daddy took him in there with his two items and then Noah began to play.  Steven took away George and the cup to put them away so Noah could attend his class without any outside distractions.  Noah was playing and Daddy decided to ignore him instead of give him attention so that Noah could realize he was supposed to be starting class.

The bell rang and it was time to sit on the mat.  Steven went and sat down as Noah reached for him from across the room and whined.  "No, come sit down."  Steven said to Noah.  He caved and went over to Daddy but hid behind his back.  Then he saw that they were learning about farm animals today.  He jumped out from behind Steven's back and grabbed the cow to play with while he was learning.  Then it was time to do the obstacle course.  Noah wasn't interested at first, but then Steven took the cow and showed Noah that the cow was doing the obstacle course.  Noah then had a blast and began doing it as well.  The cow was no longer needed once Noah hit the balance beam and needed Daddy's hands to help him balance.

When the bell rang again after a little bit of free play, Noah went and sat down exactly like he was supposed to.  After that they did an activity with bean bag shapes.  They were supposed to throw them as far and as hard as they could...Noah's arm was shocking to most other parents there.  But, we knew with athlete parents that Noah was going to be a strong boy!  Then they were to pick up all the shapes and make a pile so they could use the big cylinder to roll over them.  Noah went and help with ever bit of it.  He helped form the pile and then helped the teacher push the cylinder over the shapes.  One boy fell and they attempted to roll the cylinder over him, but he started crying.  Noah put both his hands to his mouth, said, "oh" with concern and went over to the boy and kissed his foot to try and make him feel better.

At the end of the class it was time for stickers.  Noah went over when the bell rang and put his hand out to receive his sticker....then he wanted one on his other hand.  Since Noah made such a big turn around the teacher thought he deserved another sticker and gave him another.  Noah then leaned in for a kiss for the teacher, but she laughed and put out her arms for a hug.  He hugged her and then helped clean up all the items after class.

It has been a little over a month that he has been attending this class once a week and going to open (free play) gym times twice a week.  It has helped with his social skills and listening so much.

Yesterday we took Noah to the playground and another miracle happened.  We climbed up and went to play on the part where you can turn a wheel and move tennis balls around.  Noah started to play and then a little girl came up and wanted to play.  Noah stepped back and pointed at it for her to play.  He watched her and then when she was done he stepped back up and played again.  I said nothing to him, he did this all on his own!!!!!  He is finally learning how to share!  I told him that I was so proud of him.

He is making so much progress!  I hope you all enjoy reading about his improvements!  We are so happy!

Noah's Kinetic Discovery Progression Update!

To all you readers who enjoy hearing about Noah's progress, this post is for you!  As you know, Noah's Kinetic Discovery classes are on Friday mornings and Daddy takes him.  This Friday was wonderful for the first thirty minutes and then took a turn for the last fifteen of the class.  Noah was excited to be there (as usual) and jumped right in to running around and playing.  When the teacher rang the bell for everyone to sit on the mat.........wait for it......wait for it......HE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Noah sat down when the bell rang!  I AM SO PROUD!  When the teacher showed them an owl he "whooed" and said "owl."  He proceeded to do the obstacle course about 15 times and after that they had free play.  The teacher also talked about monkeys and he hung on the bar like a monkey WITH the teacher!  By this point about thirty minutes had passed and I assume Noah was getting pretty wiped after actually doing everything the class was doing.  The teacher then tried to get the kids over to the table on the outside of the gym area to do finger painting and Noah believed it was time to leave.  So he fussed quite a bit and then Steven wound up taking him home.

So, we are making some progress!  He interacted with the teacher, did the obstacle course with the class, AND went to the mat and sat down when the bell rang!  Hopefully next week we will see even more progress and possibly he will last the whole class time!

CONGRATULATIONS NOAH!
