You Will Be Amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have hit a marking point at Kinetic Kids Gym!  Today, Steven took Noah to his Kinetic Discovery Class.  When they walked in, Noah didn't want to go into the gym area...he only wanted George and his cup.  Daddy took him in there with his two items and then Noah began to play.  Steven took away George and the cup to put them away so Noah could attend his class without any outside distractions.  Noah was playing and Daddy decided to ignore him instead of give him attention so that Noah could realize he was supposed to be starting class.

The bell rang and it was time to sit on the mat.  Steven went and sat down as Noah reached for him from across the room and whined.  "No, come sit down."  Steven said to Noah.  He caved and went over to Daddy but hid behind his back.  Then he saw that they were learning about farm animals today.  He jumped out from behind Steven's back and grabbed the cow to play with while he was learning.  Then it was time to do the obstacle course.  Noah wasn't interested at first, but then Steven took the cow and showed Noah that the cow was doing the obstacle course.  Noah then had a blast and began doing it as well.  The cow was no longer needed once Noah hit the balance beam and needed Daddy's hands to help him balance.

When the bell rang again after a little bit of free play, Noah went and sat down exactly like he was supposed to.  After that they did an activity with bean bag shapes.  They were supposed to throw them as far and as hard as they could...Noah's arm was shocking to most other parents there.  But, we knew with athlete parents that Noah was going to be a strong boy!  Then they were to pick up all the shapes and make a pile so they could use the big cylinder to roll over them.  Noah went and help with ever bit of it.  He helped form the pile and then helped the teacher push the cylinder over the shapes.  One boy fell and they attempted to roll the cylinder over him, but he started crying.  Noah put both his hands to his mouth, said, "oh" with concern and went over to the boy and kissed his foot to try and make him feel better.

At the end of the class it was time for stickers.  Noah went over when the bell rang and put his hand out to receive his sticker....then he wanted one on his other hand.  Since Noah made such a big turn around the teacher thought he deserved another sticker and gave him another.  Noah then leaned in for a kiss for the teacher, but she laughed and put out her arms for a hug.  He hugged her and then helped clean up all the items after class.

It has been a little over a month that he has been attending this class once a week and going to open (free play) gym times twice a week.  It has helped with his social skills and listening so much.

Yesterday we took Noah to the playground and another miracle happened.  We climbed up and went to play on the part where you can turn a wheel and move tennis balls around.  Noah started to play and then a little girl came up and wanted to play.  Noah stepped back and pointed at it for her to play.  He watched her and then when she was done he stepped back up and played again.  I said nothing to him, he did this all on his own!!!!!  He is finally learning how to share!  I told him that I was so proud of him.

He is making so much progress!  I hope you all enjoy reading about his improvements!  We are so happy!

I really enjoyed creating this piece, it was super hard to get into this format, but it is just absolutely wonderful.
